Set Up a Bedtime Routine

Now unfortunately, setting up a bedtime routine isn’t going to help you tonight. But, over time it’s likely that having a solid routine you follow nightly will help your body transition into sleep a bit more easily. Routines are a great ways to get you mind and body into certain habits like going to bed and walking up early. If you plan on going to sleep and waking up at the same time every day your body is much more likely to fall asleep faster.

Reading

Reading is a great way to wind down from the chaos of the day and let your body and mind relax. It’s also a great way to set aside some time every day for reading. I’ve recently picked up this habit and I can honestly tell you I notice a difference. By making reading a part of my nightly routine I have more time to transition from the busy day to a relaxed state which makes falling asleep much easier.

Stretching

Stretching is an amazing way to relax your body. Take a few minutes at the end of the day, listen to some relaxing music and stretch it out! This is an amazing way to calm down and get in touch with your body. This is also killing two birds with one stone since stretching daily is great for your muscles and body!

Herbal Teas

It is amazing all of the things herbal teas can do for you! One of those great things is bedtime teas. There are several brands offering bedtime teas that use natural herbs and remedies to relax your body and mind to help you sleep like a baby!
