Have you noticed how the American healthcare system focuses on treating illnesses instead of uncovering their root causes? We’ve been so conditioned to focus on the symptoms, that we fail to analyze our bodies as a whole. And while this doesn’t mean you should throw away your medications – all were saying is that you should understand the big picture of what influences your health.
That’s why we recommend a holistic approach to health. From our point of view, having optimal levels of health doesn’t mean you are “disease-free.” It’s about finding balance in all areas of your life. Because if one part of your body is out of alignment, it can manifest into other areas of your life and affect you as well.
A holistic approach to health is made up of five factors: eating, sleeping, exercise, thinking, and community. By isolating an understanding each factor, you’ll understand the root cause of the decline in your health levels. And through the development of this self-awareness, you can direct your focus to achieve balance within all five factors and create outstanding levels of health.
Keep an eye out for upcoming blogs as you will learn more about each of the five factors and how we intend to help support our members in them.
Live Healthy!
